Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Investor Relations/Operations Associate to join our team. Based in New York, this role supports the day-to-day operations of the Investor Relations (IR) department. This is a critical position that combines in-person collaboration with the flexibility to ensure smooth IR operations regardless of location.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations
• Act as a central point of contact for investors, responding promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests.
• Prepare and distribute regular investor communications, including performance updates, reports, and correspondence.
• Assist in the creation of investor-facing materials such as pitch decks, fact sheets, and quarterly updates.
• Assist investors in AML KYC Requirements making it a smooth onboarding process
• Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate and current tracking of investor data and interactions.
• Coordinate logistics for investor meetings, events, and presentations, including scheduling and follow-ups.
Lead Sourcing and Pipeline Management
• Manage the investor pipeline and provide updates to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of opportunities.
• Conduct market research and compile summaries on potential investors and what other peers are doing.
Operational Support
• Provide remote operational support to the Head of Investor Relations while they are traveling, including calendar management, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and investors.
• Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of the Investor Relations team.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years in investor relations, investment banking, sales and trading, operations, or a related role within private equity, venture capital, or financial services.
• Skills:
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
o Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
o High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
