The Role
You will have primary responsibility for implementing client administration services and support for the firm's commingled fund limited partners, as well as collaborating with the firm's marketing and sales teams in providing information and input in support of ARA's capital raising efforts. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage across the Sales, Marketing, and Investor Relations functions as a part of a dynamic team providing excellent service to our investors.
In addition, you will assist in the sales/client service functions including conference coordination, vendor and subscription management, data collection, and other administrative supporting functions.
This role is based in ARA's downtown Los Angeles office, and candidates will be expected to be Southern California residents and commute to the office.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for executing investor reporting, management of capital accounts, investor relations, and maintaining contact information to support strong relationships with current and prospective investors in the firm's funds.
- Manage client administration functions including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, redemptions, quarterly reporting, and other investor requests, working closely with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate communication with the firm's limited partners and their consultants.
- Coordinate with the Salesforce administrator to ensure client contact and investment data is accurately reflected in the CRM system and leveraged effectively for reporting and communication.
- Update Salesforce and create tools/reports to enhance Sales Team and management reporting.
- Work with the Senior Director, Marketing and Corporate Communications to support the firm's marketing and branding initiatives, including the development of collateral materials.
- Conduct research and competitive analysis related to funds, investor materials, and industry trends, contributing to the development of "best ideas" that enhance the firm's presentation, reporting, and client service functions.
- Coordinate conference arrangements including registrations, equipment, shipping, hotel accommodations, and post-event follow-up.
- Manage periodic memberships and subscriptions for the department coordinating with the sales team and external vendors.
- Other client and marketing functions as requested on an on-going basis.
Candidate Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business administration, finance, or related field. Advanced degree in a related field recommended.
- 2-4 years of experience in the institutional investment industry in a similar capacity. Real estate/private asset knowledge is a plus.

Job Specifications
- Office attendance is expected to be three days per week, with the likelihood that would increase to four days per week sometime in the future.
- Expected work hours: 8:30 to 5:30, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
- Travel: Business trips with overnight stays may be required. Occasionally may need to drive a personal vehicle for business.
