Position Overview:
A leading real estate investment firm is seeking an Investor Relations Operations Analyst to support our Investor Relations and Fundraising teams by managing data, reporting, and operational processes related to investor communications.
Job Responsibilities
Portfolio Analysis
- Review underlying models, ensure accuracy of individual asset models and consolidated fund
- Update the annual rollup on a quarterly basis to reflect the impact of new acquisitions, dispositions, and major changes in existing assets
- Coordinate with other Investments Team and the Accounting Team
- Prepare ad hoc portfolio-level financial analyses to assist with portfolio allocation
- and scenario analysis
- Assist in analyzing portfolio impacts of new acquisitions (both proactively by presenting scenario analysis to the team and reactive to specific acquisitions). Analyze fund-level impact of different capitalization scenarios
- Assist with portfolio wide budgeting review, preparation, and analysis
Partner Relations
- Serve as the lead preparer of Annual Meeting Slide Deck Presentation
- As required, prepare Deal-Level Fundraising Materials for third party equity and other external-facing materials.
- Lead preparation of quarterly reporting, including writing section summaries, preparing key charts and tables, and reviewing/incorporating asset summaries provided by other members of the Investments Team
- Help field periodic Limited Partner inquiries regarding fund activities and specific asset updates
Additional Investments Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of market research materials and reports for the company's primary asset classes and markets
- Serve as additional analytical support on acquisitions undertaken by the Investments Team
- Help with bespoke Asset Management tasks across the company's portfolio.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years in investor relations, fund administration, financial services, private equity, real estate, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM/databases (Salesforce, Dynamo, Juniper Square, etc.). Familiarity with fund structures and performance metrics is a plus.
- Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to analyze investor data, and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with investors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
