The Investment Operations Consultant will be responsible for ensuring timely loan and return settlement daily.

Description
- Manage and ensure timely loan and return settlement in all markets.
- Ensure appropriate collateral is agreed and transacted with counterparties daily.
- Calculate margin requirements to comply with internal and client guidelines.
- Provide reporting to auditors, management, and clients.
- Review sufficiency management regularly.
- Take appropriate actions to mitigate securities lending risks to client investment portfolios.
- Follow established procedures and perform appropriate controls (e.g., cash, security, and collateral reconciliations).
- Exercise good judgment in managing risk and follow escalation procedures.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external service provider relationships.
- Ensure successful delivery of contracted services.
- Proactively address issues and adapt service level standards to meet business needs.
- Develop partnerships with external service providers, custodians, and counterparties.
Profile
- Strong understanding of financial markets and related instruments.
- Solid working knowledge and understanding of securities lending.
- Strong regulatory background and risk awareness; knowledge of APAC market regimes is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and research skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of SQL/Python is beneficial for automating manual processes and improving workflow efficiency.
- Strong and adaptable communication skills.
- Proficient in PC use, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Aladdin applications and workflows (e.g., Dashboard, Trade Entry, Security Master, and CAM) is desirable.
