INVESTMENT FUNDS ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - ATLANTA/NEW YORK
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 50 international firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Investment Funds practice group in their Atlanta or New York office (link removed)
Candidate Profile:
• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record (link removed)>
• Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3 to 6 years of substantive experience in investment management and Private fund experience (must have "fund formation" i.e. private equity, RE funds, credit funds) (link removed)>
• Strong interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to engage directly with clients and support business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on structuring and forming a variety of investment funds , including private equity, hedge, real estate, private credit, and hybrid funds.
• Work on matters involving retail alternative funds , such as BDCs, interval funds, and closed-end funds , with opportunities to expand your expertise in this area.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive legal counsel to fund sponsors and institutional investors (link removed)>
• Engage in client-facing roles to build relationships and contribute to the teams business development efforts.
• Support the growth of a strategically important practice area within the firm, contributing to its continued success.
