Looking to be a valuable member of the Facilities & Engineering department for a pharmaceutical manufacturer? We are looking to add an Inventory Specialist to support the physical inventory of spare parts for multiple groups within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing: - Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to populate inventory material for both manufacturing and utility equipment.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records in SAP.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and order as needed to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the timely procurement of MRO materials.
- Create purchase requisitions in SAP.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Process and track material orders through SAP to ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve any discrepancies in orders, deliveries, or invoices.
- Communicate order status and delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain and update material master data in SAP.
- Ensure all information is complete, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support material data improvements.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, order status, and usage trends.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements in the management of MRO materials.
- Work with IT and other departments to enhance SAP functionality and user experience.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades and testing as needed.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have: - High school diploma, technical school, or military training and experience in relevant field.
- Three years of of experience preferably within GMP/lab equipment.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Good mechanical aptitude and administrative skills required.
Compensation and benefits offering: - Pay: $22 - $32 an hour (based on experience).
