Job Description: Inventory Specialist - Day Shift
We are seeking an
Inventory Specialist, Day Shift for our
First Quality Tissue facility located in
Anderson, SC. Inventory Specialist Responsible for assisting Warehouse Management to ensure that all warehouse functions are executed in a consistent manner in compliance with warehouse policies and procedures. Ensures the daily integrity of the inventory, adhering to all Safety, Quality and Housekeeping standards. Beyond the qualifications of the position, it is important that the individual demonstrates the ability to work within a team and perform duties independently. Keeps the flow of finished goods and raw materials inventory as accurate and timely as possible in SAP to maintain Inventory Accuracy above 97% overall.

Responsibilities: - Physical Inventory and reconciliation in SAP (Cycle Counting):
- Converting lines: Count and adjust raw materials once a week by Phase (One per day).
- Parent Roll warehouses: once a week (One per day).
- Paper Machine toted chemicals once a week at PM (One per day).
- Toted Paper Chemical storage: Twice a month
- Pulp: Twice a month
- Bulk Chemical Adjustment: Once a week
- Raw Materials and Finished Goods warehouses: Twice a month
- Pallets: Twice a week
- HOSP bins: Daily
- Clear COGI errors, TECO work orders in SAP. Work with Production to ensure the Raw Materials from the past order are returned and placed in the RET bins. Adjust quantities in SAP.
- Manually Backflush materials to Work Orders to correct errors, substitute materials under deviances or trials, adjust discrepancies in SAP inventory.
- Check GRMFG to research and move stale HU's. Review and adjust SAP bins: ADJ, CONVRW, MNL and RETURN daily while counting at the converting lines.
- Maintain expiration dates and FIFO of raw materials.
- Maintain Auto-replenish and update as necessary.
- Maintain obsolete and outdated Finished Goods.
- Work with Production to expedite rework and closeout pallets to the lines.
- Perform Month End adjustments.
- Prepare for and assist with Annual Financial Audit.
- Other duties as assigned or required as a function of this position.
The ideal candidate should possess the following: - High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Inventory experience preferred
- College courses preferred.
- Prior computer experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
