Responsibilities:
• Lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
• Receiving parts and materials into the parts room/internal store
• Communicating with sales and purchasing departments to establish preferred inventory levels
• Maintaining and creating new inventory records
• Generating parts requisitions and work orders to maintain inventory levels
• Organizing, storing parts and materials and performing periodic inventory counts
• Dispensing parts and materials to other workers in the company
• Work with engineering departments to Kit materials for prototype assembly builds
• Transact materials into/out of company database using NetSuite ERP Solution
• Fulfilling customer sales orders, while tracking components with serial and lot numbers.
• Generating work orders for production units based on preferred inventory levels and organizational needs, compiling them into a schedule
• Generating work orders based on estimated production time
• Utilizing tools such as reel counters and part counters to get accurate parts counts
• Packaging and shipping sales order
• Conducting/participating in weekly meetings in order to update other members of the company about production status and progress on parts
• Potential for light manufacturing duties
Experience and Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of experience working as an inventory clerk
• Experience with shipping and receiving
• Computer applications experience using MS Office
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality control
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Must be a self-starter who can perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
