We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our Operations team that will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic programs and processes, impacting inventory and production. The Inventory Manager will support and monitor all aspects of inventory control to include planning, purchasing, shipping / receiving, working with 3PL partners, etc. Partnering with other departments (Sales, Product, etc.), the Inventory Manager will understand forecasting needs and expectations, execute tactical plans to minimize risk, maximize opportunities, and maintain accurate product levels. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and Implement Inventory Management Policies (80%) Review current processes and make appropriate recommendations for improvements Collaborate with appropriate departments to validate accuracy of inventory Ensures inventory is properly managed and controlled to support goals/needs of the organization Ensures a high degree of accuracy between inventory system and physical inventory available Perform and/or review cycle counts/physical inventory counts and report the results. Monitor transactions of inventory locations Create/compile applicable inventory reports as required Collect, resolve, and report on all inventory discrepancies and issues Conduct regular physical inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies between actual stock and system records. Optimize inventory locations to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient picking, and logical use of locations Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast future inventory needs. Prepare reports for senior management, providing insights into inventory status, stock movements, and stock-out risks. Use ZAGG systems to track and report on stock levels, sales data, and order histories. Collaboration and Communication (10%) Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate stock replenishment. Communicate inventory shortages or overages to relevant departments and propose solutions. Work onsite with 3PL in Michigan to help address inventory issues. Other duties as assigned (10%) Assist in recording inventory shipments and receipts as needed Assist in public company audit demands as needed SKILLS Demonstrated ability to effectively present ideas/plans Possess conflict resolution, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Able to develop strong relationships internally as well as with external partners Possess strong leadership skills Strong organization skills Must be self-driven and possess initiative Able to work in a fast-paced environment High ethical standards Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills/team oriented Solid business acumen QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory management Strong background in performing/reviewing inventory reconciliations strongly desired 2 + years of experience with consumer product inventory control strongly desired Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience 4+ years of experience Excel, Word, email, and ERP systems required 2+ years of experience working with external audit demands highly preferred GP experience a plus Experience dealing with 3PLs a plus Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10%-20% QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent education and/or equivalent work experience required. Must have a minimum of 7 years' experience working in Supply Chain or Logistics. APICS CPIM Certification strongly preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, type, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for 2-4 hours at a time. They must have the ability to stand 1 or more hours at a time. Must have the ability to type, reach, manipulate computer and phone systems, handle or feel objects and must have the ability to use the telephone (both with verbal and written communication). The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects and phones. The employee must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. Must have visual acuity for color and fine detail.
