Inventory Management Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to support the inventory processes for local stores. This role is responsible for auditing inventory reports, managing supply orders, and ensuring stores have the necessary equipment to serve telecommunications customers. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel and Google Suite, and a background in office administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pull and analyze inventory reports to compare store-reported data with internal tracking systems.
  • Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process orders for equipment and supplies, monitor deliveries, and reschedule missed shipments as needed.
  • Investigate and report issues with bill-paying kiosks.
  • Create and update return labels for stores and track warehouse return violations.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure stores have the necessary supplies and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in inventory management or general office administration (a 2- or 4-year college degree may substitute for experience).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Experience using Google Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management tools or methodologies.
Education & Certifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
