General Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating all material, and documentation for material disposition to branches.
Essential Job Functions
1. Run reports to obtain requests for material from Central Warehouse.
2. Enter ST/SX sales orders in JD Edwards software (JDE).
3. Print daily pick tickets for warehouse to pull material for branch transfers.
4. Match manifest with pick tickets, scan to receiving branch prior to delivery.
5. Coordinate special order material ordered from suppliers for delivery for arrival prior to installation.
6. Notify Inventory Coordinator when corrections/cycle counts need performed upon notification from the Warehouse Associate on availability of material in the warehouse.
7. Interface with branches and other team members regarding disposition of material.
8. Interface with other departmental team members to solve problems that cross departments.
9. Other customer service, administrative, and clerical duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
2. Proficiency in Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP, and/or PeopleSoft a plus.
3. Strong interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to provide creative solutions to real-time challenges.
5. Ability to multi-task and react with of urgency.
Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 2-3 years of practical customer service skills in the construction industry.
3. Previous flooring experience a plus.
Other Requirements
1. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.
2. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
3. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
4. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
5. Travel required: negligible
