Overview : Inventory Control Supervisor - Distribution Center, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of inventory control, ensuring timely and accurate stock replenishment, minimizing discrepancies, and maximizing overall warehouse productivity.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Oversight: Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy. Monitor and analyze inventory metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of inventory control specialists to achieve departmental goals. Provide training and support to ensure team members are proficient in inventory management best practices. Technology Integration: Utilize inventory management software to track and manage stock levels. Identify opportunities for system enhancements and coordinate with the IT department for implementation. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy of received and shipped products. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on inventory performance, variances, and trends. Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Skill Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate ability to provide clear and concise information. Must maintain a sharp eye for detail. Must be able to accurately demonstrate ability to type and perform manual alpha/numeric entries. Above average computer and technological proficiency. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor. Ability to work both independently and as a team player. Organizational skills; able to plan time and work effort effectively with attention to details. Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify critical situations and use good judgment to respond in a timely manner and if needed, consult appropriate personnel before making critical decisions. Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a distribution center environment. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Pay Range: $65,560-76,830 Annual DOE
