Inventory Control Manager
Salary: $90-122 K

MUST have experience in a manufacturing environment.
We are seeking an experienced Inventory and Materials Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels to support production and distribution. The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of experience in inventory control or a relevant combination of education and experience. A background in lean manufacturing or data-driven business systems is a plus. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to optimizing inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through database management and reporting
- Oversee purchase orders for raw materials and key production components
- Conduct inventory reconciliations, including:
- Daily cycle counts
- Month-end variance reviews
- Quality hold tracking
- Process and track finished goods inventory
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies with production, quality, and shipping teams
- Support and participate in monthly and year-end physical inventory audits
- Manage procurement and tracking of raw materials, additives, and other critical resources
- Maintain vendor-managed inventory systems and coordinate material purchases
- Utilize inventory management systems
- Assist in system improvements and troubleshooting related to inventory processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain relevant documentation
- Perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in inventory control or a similar role
- High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities
- Effective teamwork and communication skills with a proactive approach
