RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains accurate and predetermined levels of inventory in assigned area. Processes and maintains accurate records for receipts and supplies through the Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) as assigned.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Essential: standing, walking, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking; lifting, pushing/pulling usual weight of 5 pounds up to 40 pounds; reaching above, at and below shoulder level; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods. Frequent: sitting, repetitive arm/hand motions. Occasional: stooping/bending, squatting, twisting body, frequent gripping of an object. Operates computer, printer, copier, facsimile, and calculator.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Work environment may be stressful while interacting with departments, staff and outside facilities.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education/Certification and Licensure:
1.Academic background necessary to do calculations, inventory, filing and data processing.
2.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
B. Experience:
1.One year experience working with medical supplies, distribution and data processing preferred.
2.Previous experience in operating automated inventory systems preferred.
3.Ten-key calculator experience preferred.
