We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join the Scott Manufacturing team as an Inventory Control Clerk reporting to the Materials Manager. This role is pivotal in driving process improvements and implementing best practices alongside the Warehouse and Production Teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in transaction validation, ensuring accuracy in inventory control processes, supporting reconciliation efforts, and the flexibility in assisting with production and warehouse tasks when needed. This is a great opportunity to help optimize inventory processes and work cross-functionally, engaging with Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams. Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Warehouse and Production Teams to identify areas for process improvement in inventory management and maintain effective controls to minimize errors and ensure data accuracy.
• Validate and reconcile inventory transactions in ERP to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational activities.
• Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead efforts in auditing physical inventory with system records and ensure compliance with established reconciliation procedures.
• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control.
• Provide support and guidance for the ERP related to inventory control.
• Maintain documentation outlining best inventory practices, procedures, and process-related guidelines.
• Provide support during peak times and assist with Warehouse tasks as needed, including manufacturing operations and warehouse processes.
• Support any data needs for daily operations, providing reporting as needed. Qualifications: Required Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and Microsoft Excel proficiency.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience in ERP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Physical Requirements:
• The ability to lift objects up to 40 lbs, 50 lbs, or 65 lbs
• The ability to stand for long periods of time
• The ability to walk and navigate a warehouse
