Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Data Entry/Inventory Control Clerk in Bellport, NY 11713

Location: Onsite Bellport, NY 11713
Schedule: 9am-5:30pm
Pay rate: $20-$25.71/hr
Responsibilities:
- Accurate Data Entry: Ensure precise entry of all inventory transactions in MAS 500.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and customer service teams.
- Inventory & Financial Knowledge: Understand product structure, GL structure, and financial impact of transactions.
- Increased Workload: Manage additional 70+ hours of work due to inventory transition to CDCII on OH.
- Operational Impact: Address delays in customer service levels caused by the increased workload.
- Specialized Expertise Required: Requires background in Inventory Control and Production Planning in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent
- APICS CPIM and/or CPM certification
- 2+ years of experience in Production inventory and Production planning in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
