Inventory Clerk Position Summary: The
Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing the accurate placement, tracking, and organization of all incoming, returned, and in-stock materials. This role ensures the efficient flow of materials through systematic stock control and coordination with the Production and Assembly departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to maintain inventory accuracy through diligent record-keeping and regular cycle counts.

Key Responsibilities: - Accurately receive, organize, and place incoming or returned materials into designated project stock or stockroom locations in a structured and orderly manner.
- Maintain system-based warehouse location records for all stocked items.
- Pull and deliver job orders and parts for assembly in a timely and efficient manner.
- Issue parts or job orders in the inventory system and maintain corresponding records.
- Organize and archive both open and completed job order files.
- Track and file all miscellaneous parts issued to assembly or other departments.
- Ensure returned materials are sorted and returned to appropriate stock locations promptly.
- Keep the project stock and stockroom areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
- Collaborate closely with the Production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Perform daily and monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Support additional warehouse or inventory-related tasks as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of inventory or material handling experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficient in computer-based data entry; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, and scales.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience preparing inventory reports and maintaining accurate records.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess sufficient general education to complete reports, perform basic calculations, maintain records, and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Role may involve standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Additional training or certification in inventory management is a plus.
