National Automotive Company is seeking an inventory clerk
Great North Scottsdale Location, full time hours M-F 8am to 5pm with flexibility to work earlier
Must be comfortable working with excel, organized, and enjoy multi tasking.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all new and pre-owned vehicles in dealership inventory systems (e.g., Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds).
Complete vehicle receiving process including verifying VIN, inspecting vehicles for damage, and matching invoice details.
Coordinate and track vehicle transportation to and from dealerships, auctions, and body/mechanic shops.
Ensure timely entry of all vehicle details into internal DMS and online platforms (dealer websites, third-party listing sites).
Monitor lot organization and vehicle placement to ensure a clean, customer-ready appearance.
Assist with inventory audits and reconcile physical inventory against records.
Manage stock numbers and lot tagging for all vehicles.
Liaise with the sales and service departments to support accurate inventory availability.
Process vehicle trade-ins, wholesale units, and dealer swaps accurately and efficiently.
Support photo capture and signage for online marketing and in-lot presentation.
Follow all company and manufacturer procedures regarding inventory documentation and compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
Previous dealership or inventory control experience strongly preferred.
Proficiency in dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
