Better Living Components is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to help track and manage our materials inventory-including lumber, hangers, and other hardware-across our yard and warehouse. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can confidently navigate Inventory Software and Excel spreadsheets, and wants a flexible schedule of about 2-3 hours per day.


What You'll Do:
  • Conduct routine physical counts of raw materials and hardware
  • Record inventory receipts accurately using Excel and other tracking tools
  • Monitor open purchase orders and ensure proper documentation
  • Report low stock, discrepancies, or damaged items to the manager
  • Walk and work across yard and warehouse areas to access materials
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures
  • Support the team with other duties as needed
Requirements:

What You Bring:
  • Experience with inventory control or materials tracking
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Physical Aspects:
  • Comfortable walking on uneven terrain and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions outdoors

Schedule: Part-time, approx. 2-3 hours/day (flexible)
Work Environment: Outdoor and warehouse-based
