Adecco is hiring immediately for an Inventory Clerk with a local client in Bennington, VT. An Inventory Clerk will do essential jobs with one of our premier clients, with starting rate at $22-$24/hr. In this role, you will accurately receive, control and maintain raw materials and work-in process inventories.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to learn and perform all the company's shipping and receivingprocesses.
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must have the ability to set and modify priorities to meet the changing organizational needs.
• Must be self-organized and flexible
• Must be team oriented and have a commitment to provide internal/external customer satisfaction.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to learn all appropriate computer software
• Must have general knowledge concerning computers.
• Must have good mathematical skills.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Accurately handle and process paperwork for receipt of raw materials.
• Verify materials are undamaged and quantities match packing slips.
• Insures receiving documentation and materials requiring inspection are delivered to quality for
approval and then to accounting once approve.
• Accurately labels raw materials for lot traceability.
• Enter receipts into Epicor, run daily receiving reports.
• Establishes and manages bin locations for accurate inventory storage.
• Supports annual physical inventories and end of month cycle counts.
• Assists in month-end process; assures that proper cut-off of stock transaction and receiving of
materials are followed.
• Issues materials to jobs, stock and WIP (subcontractor) in Epicor as required.
• Maintains safety stock level of sundry and production items; reorders as needed.
• Performs daily stock transitions, including adjustments to quantity as required.
• Notifies Purchasing of any material shortages.
