PAY RATE: $35.63 - $49.88 per hour (based on experience) Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Invasive Radiology Technologist to support surgical and interventional radiology procedures in a high-performing healthcare facility. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise and direct support to physicians during interventional and surgical procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
The technologist will operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized interventional imaging equipment with precision and safety, while also serving as a patient and family educator and advocate. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist physicians with patient prep, intra-procedural support, and post-procedural care.
Operate and maintain fluoroscopy and radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
Monitor patients' physiological status during procedures and provide necessary interventions.
Act as a patient and family educator, liaison, and advocate throughout the care process.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
Maintain appropriate supplies and prepare the procedural suite as required.
Participate in continuing education and contribute to team development.
REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology required. Bachelor of Science preferred.
Licenses & Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (Florida license)
ARRT Registered Technologist in at least one of the following:
Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI)
Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI)
Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CV)
Computed Tomography (CT)
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR)
Radiography (R)
CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Experience:
Advanced ARRT certification required or a minimum of 3 years of experience may substitute for advanced certification.
Must complete 12 CEUs annually, including 10 CEUs in cardiovascular-related topics.
