INTL- QA Engineer

Job Description

An employer is looking for a fully remote Mobile QA, for a contract opportunity that will sit remotely in Colombia. This QA will join an agile team and assist with the update and modernization efforts of their mobile application that is built on ReactNative. This QA will be responsible for creating and testing scenarios for used cases and complete regression testing. They will work out of Jira and Confluence for their work loads and report bugs to the Product Owner and other cross functional team members. They will mostly be working on 60% new features on the application and 40% bugs from testing. The role is about 80% manual testing but the project will become more automated as it progresses. The client is looking for a candidate to be a self-starter who can be productive, ask questions and be resourceful.

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of mobile QA testing on iOS and Android

Experience completing mobile testing with tools like BrowserStack, Perfecto or Kobiton

Experience working out of Jira or Confluence

Experience working with CI/CD Pipelines - team is using Gitlab

Experience working with Visual Studio Code

Experience working with Object oriented languages (JavaScript or Typescript)

Experience building test plans, test execution and production support

Experience practicing Agile methodologies Automation testing experience - using tools like Appium

SmartBear or TestComplete experience

SoapUI Experience or prev working experience with APIs

Experience with AppCenter for Android and TestFlight for iOS null
