Job Description
An employer is looking for a MS SQL DBA in the Bogota, Colombia area. You will primarily be tasks with providing ongoing daily support of mission critical MS SQL Server database systems. You will support and implement tools and processes to monitor the systems extensively as well as configure, modify, deployment of virtual MS SQL Servers. Additional tasks include:
Administration, configuration, security access, backup, restore, patching, and implementation of SSAS / SSRS.
Monitor CPU usage, memory allocation, and disk I/O to detect any signs of strain or inefficiency.
Ensuring data security, privacy, and integrity by performing regular tests and evaluations
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying updates and patches to keep database systems running smoothly and securely

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years in MS SQL database administration
Well versed in MS SQL Server 2016, 2019, Windows Server 2016, 2019
Experience with SSIS
Experience with SSRS report tuning, development, and deployment.
Experience with SSAS cube deployment
Strong PowerShell scripting skills
Experience with SAN methodologies/ topology and monitoring tools
Azure experience DB2 experience
Splunk experience null
