Interventional Cardiology PA & NP Needed in CA

SCHEDULE DETAILS: 4x10hr, 7a-530p, M-F only, no weekends (though weekends may be possible). Overtime may be possible.
Background/experience that you're looking for: Any kind of procedural surgical experience where they re actually assisting in the OR itself. Interventional radiology would be fine. APP would essentially be taking on the role of a fellow and performing the same duties pre-op, post-op orders, post-op follow-up, addressing medical concerns patients might have. Must be comfortable with all of that.
MUST be willing to scrub/circulate in procedures, which is most critical. Position is highly procedural-based. There s some wiggle room on the of years of experience ONLY IF they are strictly doing procedural work currently.
So far as inpatient involvement, will need to check on patients the next morning, but won t be discharging from inpatient. Will likely do consents/H&P/inpatient triage (H&P)
Years' experience: 2 yrs experience related to adult cardiothoracic/cardiovascular patient care experience as a PA and/or minimum 1 years of adult ICU experience as a physician assistant in a Cardiothoracic ICU/Coronary Care Unit/Cardiovascular ICU setting.
Patient population: Adolescent/Adult/Geriatric
Required certifications/licenses: Must have active CA license & active AHA BLS/ACLS at time of presentation. Active CA DEA. must have ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, or ACNPC, and must ALSO have the RNFA certification in order to qualify for the cath lab role.
Procedures, if applicable: Access right heart cath, left heart cath, diagnostic adult catheterization. Working up to supporting PTI cases when a fellow isn t available or maybe as the 3rd operator assist.
