A hospital is seeking an Interventional and Diagnostic Radiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Northern Georgia.
This position requires a 90-day credentialing period and involves a MondayFriday schedule with 810 hour shifts, depending on caseload. Weekend call is required; weekday call may vary. The role includes performing a range of interventional radiology procedures such as ports, venous access, G-tubes, biopsies, drains, biliary drainage, vertebral augmentation, dialysis access interventions, nephrostomies, TIPS, and limited oncology procedures (Y90, TACE, ablation). Support includes 5 advanced practitioners and a dedicated IR clinical team (RNs and techs). Hospital privileges are required, and the facility uses Epic EMR.
