We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented International Tax Manager to join our global manufacturing organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and timely international tax compliance, supporting foreign tax provision reviews, and executing U.S. international tax technical calculations. This position offers the opportunity to support the Senior Manager, International Tax, and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders on global tax matters.


Primarily remote with periodic work in the Charlotte, NC office. MUST BE LOCAL TO NC.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage U.S. international tax compliance requirements, including co-sourced processes with EY.
  • Review foreign provisions and provide technical input to support U.S. GAAP tax reporting.
  • Perform and review complex U.S. international tax calculations including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F income, and foreign tax credits.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of international tax disclosures for U.S. federal tax filings (Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, etc.).
  • Support IRS and foreign tax audits related to international operations.
  • Monitor international tax law changes and assist in analyzing and modeling their impact on the company.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader tax team, finance, legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Participate in international tax planning initiatives and assist in implementing structural or operational improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, JD, or Master's in Taxation preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of international tax experience, preferably in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax provisions (Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, FTCs).
  • Experience with international tax compliance processes, including co-sourcing and working with external providers (e.g., EY).
  • Familiarity with foreign provision review under U.S. GAAP and understanding of ASC 740 principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
