Job DetailsWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic International Tax Director to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing the international aspects of our tax operations and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all international tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ASC 740, Federal & State Tax, S Corp, Income Tax, GILTI, FDII, 5471, and other related areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a progressive, fast-paced company and to make a significant impact on our international tax strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all international tax operations, including the preparation and review of tax returns and ensuring compliance with all international tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
- Provide expertise on international tax matters, including ASC 740, Federal & State Tax, S Corp, Income Tax, GILTI, FDII, 5471, and other related areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice and guidance on business decisions and transactions.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company.
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the tax team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree in Taxation or CPA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in international tax, with a focus on ASC 740, Federal & State Tax, S Corp, Income Tax, GILTI, FDII, 5471.
- Proven experience in managing tax operations and developing tax planning strategies.
- Deep knowledge of international tax laws and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
