About this Role:
- Seeking Internal Medicine Physician, Geriatric, or Family Medicine for Medical Director Role
- Medical Director, you will provide medical staff oversight services at our post acute, rehabilitative and palliative-care institutions.
- Manage new admissions
- Attend Quality meetings
- Oversee and support in-servicing of staff
- Ensure exceptional patient care in a post-acute care setting
- Attend quality assurance and policy review meetings on a regular basis
- Help foster positive collaboration among care teams through open communication
- Flexible Schedule. M-F Hours. No after hours or weekend call
Background Desired: Medical Director
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Family, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric
- Ability to hold a Virginia state medical license
- Willingness and ability to see patients the geriatric population
