Job Title: Medical Doctor (Internal Medicine)

Duration: 01 Year to long term
Shift: 09:00AM to 05:00PM (20 Hours/Week)
Position Type: Part Time

Job Duties:

• Review FQHC secret shopper dental survey and the underlying issues they are illuminating

• Analysis related to providers performing well visits on our members without being VFC providers and offering them vaccines

• Proposing action to deal with phantom networks

• Meeting with individual MCOs regarding the issues above

• Initiate group MCO meetings at some point

• Preparation of analyses related to confirming the front-line experiences of our members, their access to care, and the quality of said care in specific areas.

• Familiarity with our managed care contract, and enforcement thereof, is essential.

• This individual will also need to assist with the development and monitoring of MCO incentives and penalties.

• The Division currently has operational needs for a medical professional board certified in Internal Medicine, to assist with clinical issues requiring that certification.

License and Certification:

• Medical Doctor board certified in Internal Medicine
