Work Schedule: Day shift / Full-time
Monday through Friday
Medical Specialty: Primary Care
Work Location: In-person, office-based setting
Job Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care, diagnosing and treating patients under the supervision of a physician.
Order and carry out diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, electrocardiograms, lab work) and interpret results, identifying any abnormalities and ensuring follow-up care and patient communication.
Offer counseling on medication usage, address mental health concerns, provide health education, and perform routine preventive care assessments.
Suggest appropriate treatment options and help guide the patient's care plan.
Accurately document all patient interactions and services provided in medical records.
Administer various medical procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care management.
Contribute to community health by creating and managing patient care plans.
In-office responsibilities include performing tasks such as:
Wound repair
Cyst and abscess drainage
Skin biopsy procedures
Joint and trigger point steroid injections
Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
Pap smears
IUD removals
Ingrown toenail removal
Wart removal
Required Qualifications:
Active Texas Physician License (Required)
Board Certification (New graduates must be board-eligible and will need to obtain certification before starting the position)
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Experience with eClinicalWorks is a bonus
Candidates with a green card or U.S. citizenship are preferred; H1-B candidates who have completed the J1-waiver are also welcome to apply.
