Primary Care Physician - Located in Providence, RIPosition Type: Full-Time, permanent positionSchedule: Day shift 40 hours per week Position Summary: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients and their families with a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.Responsibilities:Diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of medical conditions in a primary care setting Emphasize wellness, preventive care, and patient education Determine need for and coordinate specialist referrals and follow-up care Prescribe medications and order diagnostic studies and ancillary services Provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a care team including a medical assistant Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and patient care programs Serve as a clinical resource and consult with the Medical Director and care team as needed Maintain compliance with privacy regulations and standards for medical practice
