Locum Physician - General Medicine in North Carolina
We are seeking dedicated General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across North Carolina.

Providers will work autonomously, enhancing their experience while contributing to a vital service for veterans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments.
- Complete standardized forms and Reporting/DBQs within 48 hours of the exam.
- Maintain detailed record reviews and follow up on administrative work as required.
- Participate in ongoing training, including DMA certification and PEP sessions.
- Utilize a personal laptop for evaluations; no Mac products allowed.
- Possibility to provide care in your own practice or travel to a VES leased facility.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification in a relevant specialty (General Medicine preferred).
- Active and unrestricted full medical license in North Carolina.
- Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become certified.
- A current CV including a home address for presentation.
- Willingness and availability to perform general medicine responsibilities.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must hold an active medical license in North Carolina (NC).
- Must be board certified.
- DMA certification is required and training must be completed upon credentialing.
