Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join a dynamic practice in Houston, KY, dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans through Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Job Responsibilities:
- Perform one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Conduct interviews primarily with a focus on physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment required.
- Complete administrative work including addendums, medical opinions, and diagnostic readings.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
- Work PRN with flexible scheduling options for half-day or full-day shifts.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Must possess a valid and unrestricted physician license.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine preferred.
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Own a laptop (no Mac or Apple products).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted full medical license in Kentucky.
- Certification from an accredited board, or board eligibility.
