Internal Medicine opening in New Mexico - Located in Gallup, NM - Albuquerque, NM 150m - Full-time, permanent position - Seeking a Board Certified MD or DO - Competitive compensation and benefitsEducation: - Medical degree (MD, DO) from an accredited institution required - Successful completion of a residency program required - Successful completion of a fellowship program preferredExperience: - Minimum of one (1) year experience in primary care preferredRequired Licensure/Certification(s): - Unrestricted New Mexico State Medical License - Federal DEA Certification - Board Certification or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine required. Expectation is Board Certification within two years of hire. - Current ACLS and/or BLS Certifications requiredUnder the general direction of the Senior Director of Clinic Operations, the Internal Medicine Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive patient-centered care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses to adult patients in the outpatient setting. This position requires strong diagnostic, assessment and treatment skills as well as the ability to build relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
