StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with the Nation's largest Healthcare System to assist with the recruitment of an additional Internal Medicine Faculty for their established Internal Medicine Residency program, which is located in Gainesville, FL and affiliated with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

Practice Highlights / Qualifications: - Graduate of an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program
- Ability to obtain Florida medical licensure
- Have an outpatient focused practice.
- Working closely with residents in the clinic.
- Have attending only clinic days.
- Participate in clinic-only lectures.
- Join a collaborative group of academic and clinical educators focused on training high quality physicians.
- A broad array of medical subspecialists support the training program.
- Candidates must be board eligible in internal medicine.
- New grads welcome to apply, especially those with prior chief residency experience or strong academic interests.
- Point of Care Ultrasound training is preferred but not required.
Located a short 3.5 miles from the University of Florida campus, this hospital is a 510-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center serving North Central Florida. It offers a wide range of services including cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, women's care and wound therapy. With a new tower that recently opened, the facility added an 18-bed MICU, a 30-bed Orthopedic Unit and a 30-bed Postpartum Unit. In addition, they opened a brand new 25-bed Level III NICU, expanding the hospital s capabilities to care for sick and premature infants.
