Locum - Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join our dedicated team of General Medicine Providers in Houston, North Carolina. This position focuses on performing Compensation & Pension exams along with Separation Health Assessments. As part of our mission, you will play a vital role in helping our nation s Veterans by conducting thorough assessments in your own office environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interview-based assessments with some physical evaluation, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required documentation and reports, including addendums.
- Work on a PRN basis, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care in conducting assessments.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Must possess an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina.
- Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
