Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine

We are looking for General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Michigan. This role supports our mission of providing essential healthcare services to those who have served in the military. Various locations and flexible scheduling options are available for qualified candidates.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform primarily interview-based assessments with some physical evaluations, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing or treatment required.
- Complete necessary administrative work, including report writing and addendums.
- Attend training and meet ongoing credentialing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Active and unrestricted full license to practice in Michigan.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Must own a laptop (Windows platform only).
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must possess a valid and active Nurse Practitioner license.
- DMA certification is required; willingness to complete DMA training is essential.
