People First in Long Beach Local Team Collaboration:
- Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is a 420-bed non-profit teaching hospital that has been recognized as a major regional provider of medical and surgical services by US News and World Report.
- 15-bed CVICU & 32-bed Med/Surg ICU
- During the day service, the Intensivist will provide care in the CVICU
- Night service is a teaching service with IM residents and a Hospitalist Physician who is comfortable with ICU management and procedures
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon for dictation
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.
- Active California medical license preferred
Practice in the Heart of the Community Scheduling:
- 7 on 7 off schedule with one week of days and one week of nights each month
Key Responsibilities:
- We care for medical and cardiac ICU patients. We see diverse cases and high acuity.
