We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
People First in Austin Local Team Collaboration:
- Join our established team at St David's Medical Center as we expand to 24/7 in-house ICU Physician coverage. We have been managing the ICU at St David's since February 2021 and are now expanding our program by adding night Physicians to our team.
- St David's Medical Center is a comprehensive stroke center and referral center for neurosurgery and neurovascular. We have a 24-bed med/surg ICU with a 16 bed Neurocritical Care Unit.
- We have excellent relationships with consulting services like IR, Neurology, Anesthesia.

Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible critical care physicians (MD or DO).
- Active Texas license preferred
- A commitment to excellence in clinical service, with strong problem-solving abilities essential for the ICU setting.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate proficiency in all technical skills required in critical care.
Practice in the Heart of the Community Scheduling:
- Block schedule. We collaborate to manage the schedule as equitably as possible, ensuring intensivists achieve an outstanding work/family life balance.
