Eight Eleven and our Family of Companies is looking to hire an energetic, organized & passionate Event Coordinator to assist in planning, strategizing, and executing company events.

The Event Coordinator position requires an organized, enthusiastic, and flexible individual who is capable of thinking on her/his feet, takes initiative, can work independently and is highly motivated. The person should be creative and have excellent customer service skills. The position reports and supports the Event Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with all planning, creative and execution of external company events, such as internal conferences and internal experience. (will require travel)
  • Assists with gathering pricing, quotes, and research for vendor partners & hotels.
  • Assists with preparing, editing, and gathering visuals for presentations.
  • Assists with reviewing contracts for all hotels and outside vendor agreements.
  • Assists with creating registration sites/feedback surveys and sending results to Event Manager.
  • Assists with booking all travel needs for event attendees, flight manifest & agenda development as well as expense reporting for large scale events.
  • Assists with other tasks assigned related to events/marketing or other needs by Event Manager.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to establish creative visuals and social media executions to provide the best experience for event attendees
  • Works with Marketing for all things promotional swag for idea creation and execution of gifting for events
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 0 - 2 years' experience working in event planning, meeting planning and/or marketing.
  • Extremely passionate about the corporate events industry and desire to grow with the company.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and internal teams as well as ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed for on-site event coordination.
  • Based out of Indianapolis, Indiana
