Our client, a leading manufacturing and distribution company is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor is primarily responsible for the SOX Audit and Operational audits for multiple divisions, domestically and internationally. The position requires approximately 15% travel, mostly domestic.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing audit experience along with 1+ years of industry or public experience.

Responsibilities:- Plans and participates in the execution of operational and financial audits
- Documentation, audit findings, and recommendations for issues identified
- Participates in the annual risk assessment process
- May oversee work of assigned audit staff. All other duties as assigned.
- Maintain and update the internal audit programs and policies as necessary.
- Prepare internal audit reports and memos
- Perform and/or help coordinate SOX compliance testing on behalf of management
Qualifications:- Bachelor's in Accounting required
- Minimum 1 years of experience
- CPA or CPA Eligible a plus
- Manufacturing or product-based industry experience a plus
- Willing to travel 15% - planned travel
