Job Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the department head and dean the program coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned instructional program(s). The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating adjunct personnel and student performance, and advising students.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a master's degree in English, OR master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in English and have (2) two years of progressively responsible related work/teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience at the college level is preferred, as well as the demonstrated ability to work as an academic support team member. In addition to faculty responsibilities, the coordinator position requires participation in planning and revising curriculum, the ability to utilize customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology. As a member of the academic support team, the coordinator is assigned duties with varying levels of supervision.
