Job Summary

The Intern for Innovation Product Marketing will support multiple aspects of the innovation process and gain experience in all areas such as competitive analysis, trend research, product concepts and innovation strategy. This internship will be hands-on and require passion and excitement for all things beauty.

Responsibilities

- Product information data entry and organization

- Monitor the Global marketplace for category news, trends, insights, competitive activity and inspiration across the beauty industry

- Coordinate product samples - track, maintain, and organize office stock and distribute product to internal and external teams

- Create strong partnerships and maintain effective communication with cross-functional team members through regular catch-up meetings and emails

- Maintain and meet deadlines on multiple, concurrent projects

- Create and maintain monitoring key documents on a regular basis (launch date calendars, product briefs, pricing documents, etc)

- Prepare reports and product analysis projects as needed (pricing, packaging, ingredients, messaging, collection trends, etc.)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in business or marketing or related field

- Prior internships in marketing, innovation, product development preferred, prestige or mass beauty experience working with Product Development and R&D a plus

- Full competency of Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel and PowerPoint

- Passion for color cosmetics and skincare

- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, deadline driven

- Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail and quality of information generated

- Must be self-motivated and be capable of multi-tasking

- Comfortable working in a collaborative manner and a highly creative out-of-the-box thinker

$20 - $20 an hour
