What you'll be doing: - Assist in performing functions within the monthly financial close process, including preparing journal entries and schedules
- Assist in preparing account reconciliations
- Assist with data entry and coding
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Demonstrates continuous effort to increase business acumen by proactively learning full business process of assigned areas
- Ensure all policy and procedure guidelines are maintained
- Actively participates in department and cross-functional projects and continuous improvement activities
Who/What we are looking for: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Accounting/Finance/Business
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency with computers, especially Microsoft Excel and strong typing skills
