Hyundai AutoEver America's HQ (Fountain Valley or Costa Mesa, depending on business unit) will be running a 12-week internship program from 06/24/2025 to 09/12/2025. Interns will be expected to work anywhere between 20 - 24 hours a week, not to exceed 30 hours a week.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Admin Intern to assist with a variety of Human Resources functions. As an HR Admin Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in HR operations, including onboarding, employee engagement, HR documentation, and general administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in HR and build a solid foundation in HR administration.
Seeking a Final Year graduate who is able to start working as a Fulltime Employee, immediately following the internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Onboarding Assistance:
- Help coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing documents and assisting with new hire orientations.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and filed properly.
- Employee Engagement & Recognition:
- Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, including events, surveys, and recognition programs.
- Help track and report employee participation and satisfaction.
- HR Compliance & Documentation:
- Support HR in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations.
- Training & Development:
- Support the coordination of employee training programs and events.
- Help provide support in revamping training material/ training retention strategies.
- General Administrative Support:
- Assist HR team with general administrative tasks, including filing, organizing, and maintaining HR-related documentation.
- Invoice Management: Help manage and track invoices for HR-related expenses.
- Report Generation: Assist with the generation of various HR reports and help track key metrics.
- Process Documentation: Support the documentation of HR processes for better efficiency and clarity.
- SOPs Creation: Assist in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Answer general HR-related inquiries from employees.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (Final year)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with the latest creativity tools used for design, collaboration, learning and productivity such as Canva, Kahoot, etc.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive and team-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience in an office setting or HR-related activities (preferred but not required).
Pay Range - $25.00 to $27.00/hour
