Description The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking an enthusiastic
Software Developer to contribute to our mission within the Fires Division Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) and Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) Maintenance and Sustainment team. This position is a unique chance to leverage your skills in a critical role supporting engineering and technical services for the CECOM Software Engineering Center Mission Command Division.
Your role will involve creating capabilities and providing expert technical support for the Family of US Army's FIRES Systems, including AFATDS, AN/TQP-53, and LCMR Q49A.
Primary Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software for various engineering applications.
- Collaborate with analysts to comprehend their analytic or interface requirements.
- Assist in developing tools and interfaces while ensuring quality in operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications.
- Define operational specifications and analyze software requirements effectively.
- Contribute to the design and development of embedded systems software.
- Analyze user needs and develop innovative software solutions.
- Support and mentor lower-level technical staff through coaching and project reviews.
- Manage teams and projects, targeting key project objectives and deliverables.
- Maintain open communication with internal team members and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction with project outcomes.
Basic Qualifications: - 8-12 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Must possess a current and active secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP-ISSEP, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, or SSCP may substitute for a degree.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience: 6 years in Agile Development.

Pay Range: Pay Range: $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
