As an Intermediate Computer Scientist, you will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their data science related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner. This position performs activities associated with implementation, integration, and support of computer systems in a mission-critical response operations environment. Responsibilities: Collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non - technical personnel, to understand their data needs, suggest solutions, and complete assigned work in a timely manner. Support the design, development, and maintenance of large data solutions. Code/program with Python. Support machine learning, statistical analysis, and data analysis tasks. Perform Extract Transform Load (ETL) tasks. Perform data visualization tasks/assignments. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards. Support technical troubleshooting of incidents, tasks, or activities. Salary Range: $130,000-$160,000 Required Skills Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's degree in in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 4 years technical experience. 3 years' Advanced Data Science/Data Analytics experience. A minimum of 2 years coding experience using Python. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data engineering, data visualization and dashboarding. Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL). Strong database knowledge and experience (SQL, MySQL, NoSQL). Experience using AI and Machine Learning to improve clients' operations and solving complex data problems. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitLab. Desired Skills Familiarity with Apache Spark and Databricks for distributed computing with large datasets. Strong working knowledge of Splunk. Knowledge of social network analysis tools (e.g., NetworkX) and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j).
