Intermediate Administrative Coordinator

Pay Rate: $24.00/HR

Core office hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Monday - Friday)

Job Focus:

The Administrative Coordinator role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics for the research manufacturing unit located in Gray Summit MO. This role will support the production team, and research laboratory team at the manufacturing unit. This position requires the ability to handle information and documents in a professional and confidential manner. This position reports to the Plant Manager.

Required Experience:
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proven analytical skills (e.g. data analysis, business processes)
  • Ability to act in a customer-service oriented capacity with stakeholders
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to engage with all levels of staff and management
  • Must have ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proven ability to respond effectively to multiple or changing priorities
  • Intrinsically motivated and a self starter with the ability to grow and develop
Required Education:
  • High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or 4+ years of experience in a food or feed manufacturing environment
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, and quality assurance highly desired
  • Intermediate to Advanced Power BI aptitude
  • Intermediate to Advanced JD Edwards/ Oracle aptitude
Job Duties:
  • Ensure accurate entry of production work orders that come in from various customers
  • Verify ingredient quantities to fulfill work orders
  • Work with procurement and independent suppliers to get materials before deadline
  • Create and enhance professional relationships with upstream and downstream key stake holders to facilitate communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
  • Work with procurement team to update and verify ingredient cost changes and availability
  • Work with data analytics teams to streamline new ingredient usages
  • Coordinate logistics for interplant logistics and external logistics
  • Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to ensure and monitor proper operations support to meet demands.
  • File and organize all paperwork for recordkeeping
  • Maintain inspection records for quality and regulatory purposes.
  • Communicate effectively, timely, and professionally with co-workers, leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data reaches all audiences.
  • Adapt well to changing priorities with a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Other duties as assigned.
