JOB TITLE - INTERIOR DESIGNER
Location: East Yorkshire Type: Permanent
Salary: 20,000 - 40,000 DOE.
Job Summary:
- This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of the interior design team for a well-established, reputable local business, where you would be responsible for managing projects from concept to completion.
Main Duties:
- Develop initial concepts and layouts.
- Material and colour scheme selection.
- Research current and future trends.
- Produce accurate working drawings of layouts/furniture for prototypes.
- Work closely with other departments and suppliers to ensure designs are on budget and suitable to be produced on the line.
- Attend trade shows and suppliers to gain inspiration and source new products and materials.
- Create idea boards to communicate design concepts.
Person Specification:
- Good 3D drawing and IT skills
- Ability to work as a team and individually.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ideally experience with SketchUp and AutoCAD
- Experience or qualifications in spatial/interior design
