INTERIM ACCOUNTING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the Controller to oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
Review and analyze contracts and agreements to determine appropriate revenue recognition methodology and ensure proper documentation and support.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to understand and document revenue arrangements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and policies.
Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, providing accurate and timely reporting to management and stakeholders.
Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and sales, to ensure accurate financial information and support business initiatives.
Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly desirable.
Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
Experience in the digital advertising industry or related field is a plus.
Proficiency in NetSuite preferred with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and communicate financial information clearly and concisely.
